Since its release a little over 12 months ago, Deutz-Fahr’s 5125G HD utility tractor has sparked attention from Bendigo to Busselton. Superbly engineered and designed, customers have lined up to praise its adaptability and ease of use. With even more features fitted as factory standard, the 5125G HD really is the go to medium-powered tractor for this season and beyond.
It’s a tractor built for daily work and flexibility of function. From feeding out to loading, seeding to hauling all manner of implements, the 5125G HD brings a compact and highly manoeuvrable dynamic to farm operations and transporting while retaining the serious grunt required for heavier tasks.
Notably, a German Deutz-Fahr style STOLL front end loader now comes as standard. The loader subframe, hydraulic kit and all electrical connections are factory fitted, mounted with a STOLL loader boom, capable of reaching 3.82 metres in height and lifting two tonnes of weight. Attaching and detaching the HydroFix quick coupler is simple, likewise secure attachment of the loader to the tractor with its self-locking Euro hitch, which takes less than a minute.
“This is Deutz-Fahr’s true all-rounder,” said Anthony Darveniza, Deutz-Fahr Product Manager. “Whether your day’s work involves loading, baling, raking, ploughing or mowing, the 5125 has the power and utility of function to make it a unique tractor in the Australian market. That applies to livestock, dairy, cropping, horticulture or municipal operations.”
Farmers and contractors alike applaud its dimensions and style, not to mention the technological edge that Deutz-Fahr delivers. Equipped as standard, the SDD rapid steering system – it halves the number of steering wheel turns – wet disc brakes, sense clutch and “Stop & Go” function all contribute to efficiency while simultaneously reducing fatigue.
“We’ve already had amazing feedback about the 5125,” said Darveniza. “This tractor aids the bottom line, sure, but it also makes farm work easier, safer and more productive. There’s extra visibility when loading, a boost in hydraulic capacity through the 90 litres per minute ‘On Demand’ system, which accelerates cycle time, and the hydro silent block cab suspension to reduce noise and vibration. Deutz-Fahr really does lead the market in operator comfort.”
In the luxurious cab, complementing the ergonomically organised layout of controls and instruments, there’s a fully adjustable telescoping steering column and a pneumatic suspended seat. To aid efficiency, Powershift gear changes can now be made using buttons on the side of the loader stick. Polycarbonate has replaced glass for the roof hatch; it’s shatterproof and allows full upward vison during loader work.
Under the bonnet, the 5125G HD features a 3820cc 4cyl turbo intercooled common rail diesel engine, developing a maximum 126 HP and 550Nm of torque. This means serious power and, in combination with the very latest engine technology, is achieved without the use of AdBlue and DPF emission systems.
The 5125G HD can be used for multiple applications without concerns over running costs. With efficiencies generated by Deutz-Fahr’s tech, design and operator ease, fuel consumption is optimised and maintenance is a breeze. Even with the loader fitted, access to all condensers, intercooler and transmission coolers is unimpeded.
Across the country, Deutz-Fahr continues to impress. With output and durability proven by previous models, the 5125G HD is now enhancing that reputation. This is an intelligent machine, built to perform, built to last and built for comfort. To boost the productivity of your applications, don’t let the 5125 HD pass you by.
