Area Sales Manager

PFG Australia is the largest independent Tractor and Machinery wholesale distributor in the Southern Hemisphere and due to the increased growth in our leading Grass machinery brands, McHale, Kverneland, Vicon, Jaylor and SAM, we require a self-motivated team player to work in our well-established sales team to maximise our market presence.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing and developing our sales activities in Queensland and Northern NSW with our Dealer network.

This new position will be critical in delivering our key sales strategies and building stronger key customer relationships. The right person will;

• Have a sound knowledge of farm machinery (preferably grass harvesting) and a proven sales history in this field. Wholesale machinery sales background preferred but not essential
• Be required to travel extensively throughout Queensland and Northern NSW
• Have proven leadership skills that drive sales success by leading from the front
• Be the link between sales, parts and service, with a focus on delivering total solutions to our clients
• Be computer literate and commercially astute
• Keep ahead of market trends and industry conditions
• Ideally have an understanding of GPS farming systems
