Steve – Koyuga, Victoria (PX Series)
For dairy farmers Steve and Deb Purvis, owning one Kioti tractor was great but having two is even better. In Koyuga, near Echuca, the couple work a 180-head dairy farm on 300 acres. Their cropping work is contracted out and they grow their own fodder under full irrigation. They bought a second-hand 80hp Kioti and Steve enjoyed using it, so the choice was clear when they decided to buy another tractor.
“The air-conditioned cabin is quiet and comfortable with plenty of room. Visibility is great. The tractor is smooth to operate and easy and efficient to use”
Andrew – Drysdale, Victoria (RX Series)
Andrew Belfrage is an agricultural contractor, doing hay, ploughing, spraying, sowing and other work in the Geelong and Bellarine regions of Victoria. Prior to buying his first Kioti, the RX7030 cabin tractor with 4-in-1 loader, Andrew researched other makes and models before deciding on Kioti. Given his subsequent experience, he would recommend Kioti to anyone.
“The RX7030 is a well-built, versatile tractor with plenty of power for a diverse range of operations and pretty good fuel economy. Kioti tractors are more user friendly; the cabin is very comfortable [and] it has all the specs and features I’ve been looking for, and is very easy to operate”
Randy – Torquay, Victoria (NX Series)
Randy Walsh owns ‘Tiger Moth World’, adventure flight specialists in Torquay. He bought a Kioti NX6020 with 4-in-1 loader to use for slashing, levelling the runways, moving dirt and ground repair. He knew the Kioti brand well, having used a lower horsepower model for five years before upgrading.
“I’m a bit older now and with the new tractor I wanted the comfort of a well-designed cabin with air-conditioning. I knew Kioti would have exactly what I need. The NX6020 is very easy to use. Everything is where you need it to be, the fittings are very good and access is easy”
Bob – Elphinstone, Victoria (DK Series)
At his local dealership the first things that really impressed Bob Franze about the Kioti DK5810 tractor were the stability and safety features. He also noticed the very reassuring engine noise; serious but not loud. With its 4-in-1 loader and backhoe, Bob does fencing contracting and also maintains his home acreage and neighbouring properties.
“I bought my first Kioti a decade ago, put it through some tough work and never had a problem with it. When I wanted a new tractor, I did some research on other brands to see what was out there but I’m a very safety conscious person and I like the Kioti build and design”
Scott – Derwent Park, Tasmania (CK Series)
Scott and Cathy Oates needed a functional, versatile tractor to help maintain their 10-acre lifestyle farm 30 minutes south of Hobart. The couple grow fodder for their horses on a property that is steeply sloped at the front and back. Scott went to Agfest to see what was available, discussed the options, and later took delivery of a Kioti 3710 HST from a local Kioti dealer.
“We chose the CK3710 HST because it’s a good solid tractor, well put together and simple to use. With the 4-in-1 loader, slasher and fencing auger, it was good value for money. I’ve used it for slashing, harrowing, spreading lime and fertilizer, taking out old fencing with the 4-in-1 bucket, and putting in new copper posts”
